What's New in Version 1.4.3.35

Version 1.4.3.35 adds four new boosters to Bubble Duel. Each one is powered by your booster gauge, which fills up with every successful shot. You decide when to activate it — and now you have even more ways to influence the outcome of a duel.

All four boosters work on the shared field. You and your opponents see the same bubbles and take turns. Every booster activation changes the board for everyone who plays after you.

Cocktail Straw

How it works. Tap any bubble on the field. The straw removes it and two more bubbles in the same row, from right to left. If the row has fewer than three bubbles, all remaining ones disappear.

Key mechanic: any bubbles that lose their support and are left hanging will pop immediately. A single tap on the right bubble can collapse an entire hanging cluster.

Best time to use. You notice an opponent has built a long suspended cluster — likely setting up a big combo. Activate the straw on your turn, knock out the supporting bubble, and watch the whole structure fall for points. When the next player's turn comes, they'll see a different board — without that setup.

The straw also helps clear out rows that are hard to reach with a regular shot. Two or three leftover bubbles blocking a path disappear in one tap.

UFO

How it works. Pick a color — and every bubble of that color leaves the field. Completely. No matter where they are.

Best time to use. The field has a lot of one color, but they're scattered and won't form a big combo. Collecting them with regular shots would take too long, and match time is limited. The UFO solves it instantly: the color vanishes, the field collapses, and new combo opportunities open up.

Another scenario: you see that an opponent focused heavily on one color during their last turn — building chains, setting up a combo. Take that color away with the UFO, and their plan falls apart. By the time their next turn arrives, the board will have changed.

The UFO is also strong in the late game, when the bubble pile is close to the bottom. Removing the most common color buys time and creates a chance for a final point surge.

Magic Wand

How it works. Pick a color — all bubbles of that color disappear. The effect is identical to the UFO: complete removal of the chosen color from the field.

How it differs from the UFO. The Magic Wand is a standalone booster with the same mechanic. Choosing between them is a matter of personal style. Both give you full color removal, so all tactical use cases apply to either.

Having two boosters with the same effect expands your options: when picking a booster before a match, you're not limited to a single choice.

Broom

How it works. Pick a color — and all bubbles of that color are swept to the right edge of the field. They don't pop. They gather into a dense cluster.

Best time to use. The Broom is a dual-purpose booster. For you: scattered bubbles of one color get packed into a compact group at the right edge. On your next throw with that same color, you can detonate the whole cluster at once for a massive combo. This is especially valuable in 3-player and 5-player modes, where sessions are longer and every combo counts toward the total score.

For your opponents: after your turn, there is a dense wall of bubbles on the right flank. The next player in line gets a board where that cluster demands attention. It distracts, forces a change in shot direction, and can break a prepared combo.

The Broom also pairs well with other boosters. If you manage to activate two boosters in a match: first sweep a color into a pile with the Broom, then remove it entirely — clearing a large portion of the field.

Four Boosters, Four Approaches

Each of the new boosters offers its own way to influence a duel:

  • Cocktail Straw — a precise tool. Removes a support bubble and collapses everything hanging from it. Ideal for dismantling an opponent's structure or clearing a narrow path.
  • UFO — full color removal. Great for quickly clearing the most common color and forcing opponents to rethink their tactics on a changed board.
  • Magic Wand — same full color removal mechanic, different visual style. Pick the one that suits you.
  • Broom — dual-action booster. Packs one color into a dense cluster for your future combo while creating an obstacle on the flank for whoever plays next.

All four boosters are now available in the game. Update to version 1.4.3.35 and try them out in your duels. Want to share your discoveries or discuss tactics? Join us on social media.
